SENCHAISM

Where tradition meets creativity,

and crafting skills intersect with art

There’s much more to Japanese green tea than the umami that initially hits the tastebuds. Ranging from floral and herbal to classic forest-like notes, single estate sencha is delightfully diverse. Senchaism is all about finding and sharing these unique taste experiences with tea lovers across the earth, and to support all the actors making them possible.

All our teas are cultivated and processed by skilled farmers and perfected by tea refiners with decades of experience in the field. This is the point where tradition meets creativity, and also where crafting skills intersect with art.

Senchaism was founded by Oscar Brekell, certified Japanese Tea Instructor and author of “A beginner’s guide to Japanese Tea”. The brand was created with a deep love for the culture surrounding Japanese green tea, and a sincere hope for the tradition to live on and flourish in the future as well. With our tea selection, we invite you to be part of this fascinating and ever-changing world.
