Introduction
-
Located in Suizawa Village, Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, at the base of Suzuka mountains, I established this business in 1962 with just 3.5 hectares, adding a tea factory in 1975, and incorporating in 1982. Today, we are a small operation with 15 employees, partner farms, and a fully vertically integrated processing operation from raw leaf to refinement (and grinding of matcha by stone mill). My son Koshi is inheriting the business and breaking new ground with organic cultivation and production.
