Chikumeido is a 3-century old studio specializing in the crafting of bamboo whisks (chasen 茶筅) for the Japanese Tea Ceremony (Chado 茶道). It is currently headed by the 24th generation master craftsman Kubo Sabun, and his eldest son, the 25th master, Kubo Sayuki.
