Yusuke Ota is a skilled craftsman in metalworking, engraving, and casting. He begins his career in 1977 at Mikimoto Jewelry, a Japan's representative jewelry company. Over the years he has won many awards and now he is managing his brand, Atelier Y with his artworks. Meanwhile, he also participates in the repair work at Ise Grand Shrine, the shinto shrine that the Japanese adore as "Soul of Japan".
