Naturally Withered Green Tea (天然微醗酵緑茶)

Produced by Miyamaen on Yakushima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, this unique green tea is made from the Benifuuki cultivar using a traditional withering process (ichō).

Allowing the freshly harvested leaves to wither before steaming develops a delicate floral aroma while preserving the fresh character of Japanese green tea. The result is a clean, refreshing cup with a pleasantly brisk finish. Benifuuki is also known for its naturally high catechin content, contributing to the tea's distinctive character.

Cultivated without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers, each harvest reflects the natural conditions of the growing season. Differences in weather, harvest timing, and the surrounding environment create subtle variations in flavor and appearance, making every year's tea unique.
