Ryota Atsumi - Born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1984. Graduated from the Faculty of Regional Environmental Sciences, Tokyo University of Agriculture.
After working for a food trading company, he met a farmer who ran an organic farm in Haruno, Hamamatsu, and began his career in agriculture. He was fascinated by tea, an agriculture that is based on nature but ultimately depends on human sensibility, and he decided to enter this world.
He is currently devoting his energy to promoting the various attractions of tea, beyond its taste, health, and beauty benefits. Through tea production, he aims to revitalize the local environment, economy, and human interaction, and to create a better community for future generations.
