Mino no Aji Standard Barista Grade – Tanigumi

Gifu Prefecture is home to several respected tea-growing regions, including the Ibi area in the western part of the prefecture. Our Mino no Aji Standard Barista Grade is named Tanigumi, after the historic temple district located within Ibigawa Town, a place long associated with the cultural heritage of the region.

This matcha is crafted from a blend of Yabukita and Okumidori tencha grown in Ibi, Gifu. Stone-milled into a fine powder, it offers a pleasantly fresh character with moderate bitterness and astringency balanced by a subtle hint of umami. The finish is vibrant and green, making it an excellent choice for matcha lattes, mixed beverages, and everyday matcha enjoyment.
